Product Description
Performance curing for roadways, runways, and external paving
Aardcure WHC is a blend of hydrocarbon resin and densifiers to create the highest performing curing compound in the Australian market. The advanced formulation Aardcure WHC combines the benefits found in effective curing while increasing the performance and lifespan of the concrete by introducing a specific catalyst that enhances the properties of concrete at the surface during curing and for the lifespan of concrete. This unique formulation offers many advantages over existing resin based curing compounds.
Benefits:
- New technology and unique formulation hydrocarbon resin
- Complies with Australian Standard AS3799
- Achieves water retention of 90% or greater
- Ideal for external hardstands and roadway infrastructure projects
- Contains Aardcure Catalyst which increase abrasion resistance and decreases cracking
- Fast drying for early saw cutting
- Can be removed, if required, by stripper / degreaser
Application Instructions:
Surface Preparation
Areas to be treated must be clean, dry, free from sawcutting debris.
Apply Aardcure WHC undiluted to the surface.
Freshly Laid Concrete
After surface finishing the concrete must be free of bleed water and sufficiently set to be firm and able to be walked on without marking or damaging the surface.
To achieve stated curing efficiency Aardcure WHC must be applied on the day of the pour and not left overnight.
Application Method
Assess the application area so that a fixed volume of mixed material can be applied over a fixed area to determine the correct application rate.
Agitate the material until thoroughly mixed to ensure effective curing properties.
Effective application temperatures are between 10°C and 35°C.
Application is recommended via low pressure spray unit. Spray at a sufficient rate to achieve consistent coverage in even coats. A short nap roller can also be used for smaller applications.
