This advanced bypass valve is engineered to integrate with the drive unit and efficiently manage the rapid oil decompression that occurs during pile kick-back in the screw anchoring process. Designed for improved safety and performance, it helps maintain stable hydraulic pressure, protecting the system during demanding operations.
When the anchor reaches its required torque or depth and the operator stops the drive, the anchor retains a significant amount of rotational energy similar to the tension built in a wound rubber band. This stored energy must be safely released before disconnecting the drive unit. The ECV allows this energy to bypass and unwind in a controlled, gradual manner. Without this essential valve, the built-up pressure would travel back through the pile into the drive, risking serious damage to the motor and gearbox, leading to unnecessary downtime and expensive repairs.
