Product Description

Screw anchors are installed to precise engineering torque specifications, and when the required torque is reached and the operator stops the machine, stored rotational energy remains in the pile. Similar to a wound-up spring, this energy can cause a brief kickback, sending force back up the anchor through the drive shaft, gearbox, and hydraulic motor.

This sudden reverse energy flow can force the hydraulic motor to act as a high-speed pump, leading to cavitation, premature motor damage, and costly repairs. Digga’s innovative flow reversal bypass valve (ECV) is designed to fit directly to the drive manifold, safely managing and releasing this excess energy to protect components and extend equipment life.
