Product Description
Diamond™ Dowels are plate dowels suited for construction joints in concrete slabs and pavements. They transfer vertical loads across the joint and minimise differential deflection between adjacent slab panels under load. Easy to install, they attach directly to wooden form board or metal separation plates. They come pre-packaged with all components ready for installation.
Diamond™ Dowels are available in two packaged options:
Trade Packs - Designed for the rigours of onsite construction, the Danley™ Diamond™ Dowel Trade Pack is a sturdy, durable and easy to carry carton that is work-site tough. Trade Pack configurations:
6mm Trade Pack: 25 sets of 6mm Diamond™ Dowel plates and plastic sleeves (Orange)
10mm Trade Pack: 15 sets of 10mm Diamond™ Dowel plates and plastic sleeves (Blue) 20mm Trade Pack: 7 sets of 20mm Diamond™ Dowel Galvanised plates and plastic sleeves (Green)
Bulk Packs - 6mm & 10mm Diamond™ Dowels are available in a Bulk Pack for large volume project orders. The sleeves are packaged in one large box with 500 units. The dowels are packed flat onto a skid, the sleeves are packed into a box and packed on top of the dowel and shrink-wrapped.
Diamond™ Dowels comply with the requirements of TR34 (4th Edition) – providing load capacity at joint width gaps up to 20mm.
The 20mm Diamond™ Dowel is designed specifically for heavy duty joint applications including Industrial, Commercial and Civil infrastructure applications such as roadways and pavements.

- Standard Diamond™ Dowel plates are saw-cut from steel bar to AS/NZS 3679.1 Grade 300.
- Maximises surface area at the joint.
- Nailing flange provides secure attachment to form boards.
- Double-headed nails help retain the sleeve in the concrete when stripping the form boards.
- Sleeve provides expansion capacity of 5mm.
- Sleeve system ensures the dowel is perpendicular to the form board and is stable.
- Sleeves moulded from durable, non-compressible high flow plastic.
